Change: Something to Live By

Change: Something to Live By

What is up with the world now? COVID 19 changing the world, Russia going to war? The world is going into a new phase where wearing masks may not be a thing anymore and movies are now coming back into the cinema. But the question is now, what is the next thing that is going to happen in the world? The US might be going to war, and we may no longer be wearing masks in public anymore or ever really.

It really is a wonder how the world is changing all around us with every action people take and how it affects many people. The mask policy has changed our entire society into a place of new and improved ways about the world. Movies are now coming to movie theaters left and right and video games are now being released now ever since some of them got delayed due to the virus. For example, Gotham Knights was supposed to come out last year, but it got delayed to 2022. However, even though a game got delayed, doesn’t mean it’s good, Marvel’s Avengers for example. But even though a game got delayed and may be released this year or the next, it may not be something bad, but everything may change after all that.

Change is sometimes good or sometimes bad depending on what the subject is or what the result is after the change appeared. It may be required for change to occur within a project or community to have a successful reputation in the future. For example, when Microsoft acquired Activision, the studio behind the Call of Duty games, they saw and wanted to change the working environment to make it appropriate and functional for everyone to have a successful business and successful future in the gaming industry and beyond. This was a necessary change since Activision has been accused of a lot of harassment charges amongst their employees within the workforce. When Microsoft was buying the company, they immediately sought out the change that was needed to fix what was broken in the first place. I am personally glad that they are making these changes since I do like the COD franchise, some of their games anyways, but I am glad that this change is being made and hope that they are going to do good work beyond this change.

It may be an amazing feeling, living without masks, fan-favorite movies entering theaters, new video games coming out for release, etc. All that matters is that new improvements and new ideas are making the world a much better place. With all the new changes and surprises entering our society, we must be prepared to live in a world where masking no longer exists, thank goodness, movies are entering the big screen and video games are being released for everyone to enjoy, even though some people don’t have a next-generation console, such as a PS5 or Xbox Series X/S. Therefore, living in a world where everything can change so quickly can rather be exciting and/or a bit scary knowing that things in life can change at any moment no matter what transpires, but we can all work together to endeavor and move on from all the negative sides that have occurred.
